Question 1

What is this guide about?

Accepted Answer

Framer Motion (now Motion) earns its bundle when you use the three patterns it is genuinely better at, and not for fades that CSS already does.

Question 2

How many components does it include?

Accepted Answer

549 components from the catalog, each with a live preview and source, all listed right below the guide.

Question 3

How do I use them in my project?

Accepted Answer

Open the component you want, hit Copy code or Install and the source lands in your project, the npx shadcn add command sits on the same panel.

Question 4

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes: browsing the catalogue and the component source are free. Every record shows its upstream licence, so you know what you can do before you copy.

Question 5

Which frameworks does it work with?

Accepted Answer

Most of the catalogue is React and Next.js; the /for pages also cover Vue, Angular, Svelte and CSS. Check the framework and dependencies on each record before installing.
