When to use it
It pays off when you are building a dashboard and do not want a whole design system: every block ships with motion and lucide-react, nothing else. The limit is repetition: contacts and CTAs exist in two near-identical variants, and choosing costs more than adapting.
One dashboard for every vertical
Block names describe the audience: Modern Ads Dashboard, Modern Agency Dashboard, Modern Analytics Dashboard, Dashboard Chat App. They are four readings of one schema, sidebar, metric row, table or list, changed per industry.
With one file per block, bagUi shares no primitives between sections. The upside is that you copy one folder and you have everything; the cost is that two dashboards may declare different motion versions. Before installing two, align the dependencies in a single package.
Contact Exemple 1 and Contact Exemple 2 show the opposite limit: two sections with the same job and names that do not say what differs (the Exemple typo is in the manifest). Open both previews and compare the form fields, not the headline. If the difference is not obvious in ten seconds, keep the first.

Frequently asked questions
How many blocks and files does bagUi publish?
47 blocks in 47 files, measured on 1 November 2026. Each block is self-contained: no components are shared between sections.
What licence does bagUi use?
MIT, declared in the LICENSE file of the anelkabag/bag-ui repository. The EneUI catalogue still shows see source and needs the repository to confirm it.
Which frameworks and dependencies does bagUi use?
React with shadcn/ui and Tailwind. The only npm dependencies are motion/react and lucide-react, with no external registry dependencies.
How many complete dashboards does bagUi include?
Four dashboards by industry: ads, agency, analytics and chat. They share the sidebar-plus-metrics schema but differ in density and data type.
Why are two contact blocks named Exemple?
It is a typo in the publisher manifest. The two sections are variants of one form and should be compared in preview, not by title.
