uitripled publishes 74 blocks in 74 files, but only 38 distinct titles: almost every section exists twice, one Base UI version and one shadcn/ui version. The catalogue is smaller than the count suggests.

When to use it

It pays off when you want to compare two implementations of the same layout inside one catalogue: the baseui and shadcnui pair shows what really changes between primitives. The limit is that you cannot install both versions without duplicating code.

Why the titles repeat

The manifest follows a transparent convention: every name ends in -baseui or -shadcnui. About Us appears twice, Bento Grid twice, CTA Hero twice. They are not accidental duplicates, they are the same section rewritten on different primitives.

For a chooser this is a rare advantage: open both previews and see whether the gap between Base UI and Radix matters for your case. For a block count it is a trap: seventy-four entries do not mean seventy-four designs, and half the catalogue is discarded at once.

Dependencies are deliberately minimal: framer-motion and react, plus four shadcn registry dependencies, button, card, badge, dialog. The licence is MIT in the repository and the project has passed a thousand stars, so the code is stable but not maintained like a design system.
